Ann and I were married almost four years ago. At the time we planned and paid for our own wedding. With our limited budget we splurged as much as we could for a wedding photographer. With a minimal package, minimal coverage, and a traditional style wedding photographer we ended up with mostly traditionally posed formal portraits–and a few nice, but uninspiring bridal portraits.
So the other day Ann was telling me how she looks at all the awesome images from our client’s weddings and how sometimes she feels envious that our couples get such incredible images and we didn’t. (This is one of the many reasons I work so hard for my brides and grooms… They deserve my best work. Images that they will cherish for a lifetime.)
“I should just re-shoot your bridal portraits–It’ll be fun. Do you think you can still fit into your wedding dress?” Believe it or not, almost four years later Ann still could! To celebrate I just had to take some impromptu portraits of my lovely bride. After this I’m inspired to treat her to a proper bridal portrait shoot. Hair, makeup, bouquet… everything my bride deserves.
Below are my favorites from our spontaneous living room shoot. Which one is yours? Let me know by leaving your choice in the your comments section below.

My favorite is the second one. Ann’s so gorgeous that it’s better to show her face.
The first one is great, love how it is mysterious. I hope I can still wear my dress in the winter of 2012!!! Ann you are one hot Mama!
I looove the second one!
