Yes. That’s right – Dana AND Dana – or as everyone refers to them – “The Danas”.
That’s “D” on the left and Dana on the right. It really helps to keep things straight…
It was a gorgeous day to be on the beach. Amazing light and incredible texture in the sky – and an awesome couple too:
It was the start of low tide which means lots of opportunities for cool reflection images in the sand:

But, once the sun set, we started talking about one of passions the Danas share – Riding. “Cool! lets get the bike out and create some images of you guys doing what you love!”
15 min later we were creating this image below. I love the expression that I captured of Dana on this one:
After making that image, I had a shot in my head that I knew we needed to get, but it require me to ride behind D for a few quick laps around the block.
While its really great to have your woman gripping on tight as you ride, not so much with your photographer. Yep. We were a little close for comfort, and D reminded me a few times that I was the first guy to ever ride on the back.
We got a few good laughs out of that one, but the images were well worth it… I love the sense of motion and speed that we captured here:
