Meet Miss Adaline

Mike traveled up to Lake City last Friday to meet Miss Adaline, who was just about 10 days old. She is just precious beyond words.We have really enjoyed getting to know Karen, Travis, and now big brother Gage. Meeting little Adaline was just icing on the cake. What a precious family!! They have welcomed us into their home and into their lives and we are so honored to be a part of such an amazing time.

As any new parent knows, the most comfortable place after bringing a newborn home is just that- HOME. We want everyone to be comfortable, which is why we LOVE sessions at home.  We also understand the challenges of bringing home a newborn and introducing them to the older sibling. It’s a huge transition for everyone, especially for the one who has been the baby until now. It was important for Mike to spend time with Gage playing before his interactions with Adaline. Gage needs as much love and attention as anyone and everyone can give since mommy is caring for a newborn. We understand this and try to help in any way we can.

We are not just taking pictures, but rather documenting life at a particular moment and telling the story that visually presents itself. On this day it was the story of a mom and her newborn and a dad and his son, and it was timeless and beautiful- and a little imperfect as all lives are. And we love every minute of it
