You know it’s an amazing day when there’s a pristine 57 Chevy. Yep. Michael and Shannon spent some of their last few moments before uniting as husband and wife hanging out of a gorgeous red & white 57 Chevy. The weather was beautiful and warm, and a picturesque day to get married. Shannon and Michael were so happy to be together and have all the people closest to them celebrating the start of their journey as husband and wife. We were honored to be a part of it all, too!
The day started with all the girls getting beautified at Southern Exposure with a quick jaunt for Shannon over to Merle Norman for some makeup application. Everyone then met up at Parkview Baptist Church to finish getting ready. Michael and Shannon chose to see each other before the ceremony, allowing more time for them to actually be together on their wedding day. Plus, we did ALL but one group photo before the ceremony. That means getting to the reception faster, and NO ONE has a problem with that, right?? Even though they saw each other before the ceremony, it was an extremely emotional ceremony for both of them – and it was incredible!
Amy Francis and her team with Francis Event Design did a phenomenal job (again) by pulling the day together with every detail. The church looked amazing and the reception was fabulous. Friends and family partied the night away at the Country Club at Lake City to the jammin’ tunes of Derriel Cribbs with Cribbnation Entertainment. When we opened their photobooth people got a little “wild & crazy” – in a good way! It’s what happens when props come out. The party was fabulous and the memories will be forever.
Thank you, Shannon & Michael, for inviting us to be a part of documenting this amazing time in your lives. We are deeply honored. We wish the happiest of marriages!!
