Mike traveled up to beautiful New Haven, CT to document the wedding celebration of Kris & Chris. Although the weather turned out to be quite chilly and brutally windy, it was nonetheless a beautiful day for two even more beautiful people to be united as one in an intimate coastal wedding. Kris & Chris chose Lighthouse Point Park which is a historic site with a towering lighthouse and working carousel. It made for such a unique backdrop for their ceremony and reception. It is elegantly simple.

Kris & Chris met here locally in Florida while working together at the Space Center. You can read all about their beginnings here. They chose to have an intimate ceremony with just their closest friends and family. They wanted only thse who would get Chris & Kris’ dad’s sense of humor. As Kris’ dad gave her away to Chris, he gave Kris’ dad a rubber chicken as a dowry!! LOL
Because it was so incredibly windy that day, the ceremony was moved from coast side to inside. It was absolutely gorgeous, though! The light pouring in through the windows that afternoon was heavenly. After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed some chilly time together outside where Mike created some lovely bride & groom images for them to enjoy. Shortly thereafter, they were introduced and expertly executed an amazingly choreographed first dance. Simply awesome! Guests enjoyed food, drink and merriment. Chris’ parents, Mr & Mrs Goodrich, got down on the dance floor unlike any other parents I have seen. They need like a gold medal or something for that show! Near the end of the evening almost all the guests enjoyed a carousel ride to celebrate with the bride and groom. It was a pretty awesome day!!
Thank you, Kris & Chris, for inviting us to be a part of this amazing chapter in your journey together. We are honored by your trust in us to capture and preserve such treasured moments.
A huge thank you goes out to Alicia Sturdy for her time an talent in helping capture this day for Chris & Kris!
