All families have stories, and this is one of great triumph. Ryan & Carrie tried and prayed for years to blessed with a child. They watched as friends got pregnant and had children.”Why not us?” they thought. After many years of trying, praying, and many doctor visits, they were finally blessed in a very BIG way- TWINS! To top it off, they got one of each- a perfect little boy and a beautiful little girl. We couldn’t be happier for them. They asked us to photograph them as a family in celebration of their precious babies turning one. We got some great images of them just hanging out and being a family. We let babies be babies and do what babies do! Camden & Adalyn are so precious and full of life!

Thanks, Ryan & Carrie, for giving us the honor of capturing such a precious time in the life of your kids and for you as parents. This is a huge milestone and one we are delighted to be a part of! We love you guys and wish you continued blessings in your journey as parents.

Cousins on Vacation :: St George Island

While we were on vacation over the summer at St. George Island, we visited with some of my dearest friends and their families who were also vacationing there. These three beautiful sisters have produced five of the most adorable little boys I’ve ever met! The little blonde hair and blue eyed cutie now has a sister on the way. Everyone is SO excited!

We popped by the house one �afternoon to catch a few images of the kids hanging out and playing. The blue-eyed blonde started off inside and then back out for a little playtime in the sand.�The other two brothers we caught goofing off around the pool area. We all had a great time and we captured some awesome images.

Family Stories :: Paul, Kelly & Miss Kimber

Paul & Kelly are new parents to Miss Kimber, born just a few months ago. They all came to town for Amy & Richard’s getting-to-know-you session, so we did a quick family session with them. Kelly is Richard’s sister and Amy’s best friend and maid of honor. How cool is that! What an awesome family.

We got some amazing images of Kimber and her daddy’s tattoos. With a daughter and a wife whose names start with K, both tattoos run “double duty” I’m sure Paul had no idea how appropriate the one on his back would be one day. Now that he’s a married man with a little girl, it takes on a WHOLE new meaning!!

Meet Reese :: 3mo Session

We feel so completely blessed that Megan and Ryan came into our lives last spring not too long before their wedding. It is always our hope that we will not only document, capture, and preserve our couple’s wedding day, but that we will become the “family historian” as we visually document the growth of their families as we are for this family.

We traveled over to Melbourne Beach to Megan and Ryan’s home for Reese’s 3 month session. We will continue to document her life over her first year, so stay tuned for more of this adorable little angel!! �Reese has her mother’s and father’s incredible blue eyes. She is just insanely adorable!! It is also insane that looking at this baby makes me want more! I just need to snap out of it

Family Stories :: Meet the Hinsons

It was 14 years ago today that my dear friend Shelly married the love of her life, John Hinson. �It was 2 years ago last weekend that he suddenly and unexpectedly returned to his Father in Heaven. What an incredible man, devoted husband, and loving father he was. He left behind �family and friends that miss him terribly, but that feel so incredibly blessed to have know such a wonderful man.

Shelly, Cole, Jack and Marlee were in town not too long ago, so we met up for a quick visit at Disney’s Boardwalk. I had not seen Shelly since just before Mike and I married over 7 years ago! It was so great catching up and hanging out with the kids. Such an awesome family!!

The last time I saw Jon was at our 10 year reunion. I never got the chance to tell him what his friendship meant to me. He was my best “guy” friend in high school and I loved him dearly. We always think we have tomorrow or the next day to do or say those important things – we don’t. Not always.

Tell the ones you love how much you love them -OFTEN.�Photograph and video the ones you love – OFTEN. Don’t put it off until tomorrow since that’s not always an option. Treasure every day and every minute you have with the ones you love and thank God for the gift that is today.

It was such an honor that Shelly let us photograph her kids. We had such a blast and the kids are absolutely adorable. Here are some of our favorites from our afternoon together.
